Decluttering and changing you habits

November 5th 2007

At zen habits I read a nice post by a guest editor Ian Newby-Clark an associate professor of psychology at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada who studies habit change. It is about how to change your habits. As I said earlier in another post decluttering is like chaning your habits and therefor one of the most difficult things to do. Read the whole  article to see what you should do. The top 3 things you should to change your habits are:…

1. Work on One Habit at a Time.

2. Create a Plan and Write it Down.
3. Refine Your Plan.

Added a better tagging engine

October 9th 2007

I added a better Tagging Engine called Simple Tags. This is hte basis of a better tagging of articles. This is needed for a tagcloud on the site. Great plug-in and it integrates perfectly. Now I can batch edit tags. This will surely help my get a better vision on what’s hot and what’s not on my blog.

Quit aranging things

October 7th 2007

I am always busy aranging things. And I don’t like that. It takes up to much time. So I started this blog to make it easier for myself to keep track of things. So I made some decisions. Where do I register my information. So what is/are my trusted systems. Yes GTD/ZTD conaisseurs I am a believer.

  • Friends and family: salesforce.com (Shared with mylovely wife Annemarie)
  • Todolists: Backpack (Also shared with my lovely wife)
  • Passwords: Backpack (apart from a paswordmanager)
  • Backup: Acronis and Mozy

So, some decisions I can find again.
